Tara Kurten

Tara Kurten is an experienced engineering professional with a background in project and contract engineering. Currently serving as a Contract Project Engineer at Merck since November 2015, Tara supports the World Class Supply Team by conducting equipment reliability assessments across six global Merck sites. Concurrently, since May 2014, Tara has also worked as a Project Engineer at Javan Engineering, a consulting firm serving various industries including pharmaceuticals and healthcare. Previous roles include Project Engineer at MedImmune and a decade-long tenure at ImClone Systems, where Tara held positions such as Manager and Supervisor of Facilities Coordination. Earlier experience includes serving as a Commissioning Engineer with Bovis Lend Lease. Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University, obtained in 2001.
