John Willman

John Willman is an experienced software engineer and entrepreneur with a strong background in database development and application programming. As the Founder and Owner of JawsDB since March 2015, John has led the development of a cloud-based Database-as-a-Service provider specializing in MySQL, Postgres, and MariaDB. Prior to this, John worked at Cox Communications from July 2009 to August 2017, progressing through roles from Software Engineer I to III, focusing on Microsoft T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development for various applications. John's career began at 619dev, where John served as Co-Owner, creating website design and hosting solutions. John holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from San Diego State University.
