Carl Ireland

Carl Ireland has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Carl has worked at Jaywing since 2017, where they currently hold the position of Head of Regulatory Risk. Prior to this, they were a Senior Consultant at the same company.

Before joining Jaywing, Carl worked at The Co-operative Bank plc from 2012 to 2017. Carl started as a Financial Modeller and Analyst, providing capital management reports and forecasts. Later, they became a Modelling Manager, responsible for managing model risk and embedding a risk culture in the Finance function.

Carl also had experience at BAE Systems as a Business Modeller and Analyst from 2008 to 2011, where they designed and implemented economic models to provide value-based insights into contracts. Carl worked as a Sales Executive at WRT Group from 2007 to 2008, sourcing their own leads and operating in a business-to-business sales role. Additionally, Carl gained experience as a Business Modeller and Analyst during an industrial placement at Cummins Inc. from 2005 to 2006, where they provided simulation modeling and analysis for Six Sigma projects.

Carl Ireland attended Sheffield Hallam University from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Business Modelling and Management. Carl then pursued further education at CIMA from 2010 to 2011, obtaining a Certificate in Business Accounting with a focus on Finance, Law, and Economics.
