Rajeev Sharma has extensive work experience in skill development and training. Rajeev started their career at Saraswati Engineering Limited in 1987, where they worked as a Senior Engineer in the Tool Room until 1993. Rajeev then joined Indo-German Tool Room in 1993 as the Head of Training. During their time there, they established the Training Department and offered a wide range of courses. In 2012, Rajeev joined JBM Group as the Chief General Manager and later became the Associate Vice President of Skill Development.

Rajeev Sharma has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Production Engineering from Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Rajeev also holds a Diploma in Tool and Die Technology from ITT-UP, achieved from 1983 to 1987. Prior to that, they completed their High School and Intermediate-PCM from SUBHASH SMARAK INTER COLLEGE between 1975 and 1982, with a focus on Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Mathematics. Additionally, they have a certification as a Lead Assessor ISO 9000 from IRCA Global, although the specific year of obtaining it is not provided.
