Joshua Lamkin

Joshua Lamkin has a diverse work experience in software development, with a focus on mobile software architecture and design. Joshua has held various roles throughout their career, starting with Software Engineer at Chewy Software LLC, where they developed and shipped game titles on embedded systems. Joshua was also responsible for UI programming on XBOX360/PS3 games using the Unreal Engine.

Later, Lamkin joined Geneva Derivatives as a Software Engineer, where they designed and improved internal market analysis and pricing software. Joshua optimized trading software efficiency and enhanced integration with the front end.

Lamkin then moved to SPR, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for gathering requirements, developing front-ends and back-end systems, and interacting with clients. Joshua also served as an Architect and Mobile Software Architect, making architecture and design decisions for projects and mentoring junior developers.

Currently, Lamkin is working at JBS Custom Software Solutions as a Mobile Software Architect & Delivery Lead. In this role, they serve as the main point of contact for clients and projects, ensuring project timelines, risks, and budgets are on track. Joshua is responsible for understanding and meeting clients' requirements and expectations in a timely manner.

Throughout their career, Lamkin has consistently leveraged modern software development techniques and tools to deliver high-quality and testable software solutions, adapting to the technology needs of each client.

Joshua Lamkin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Graphics from DePaul University from 2002 to 2006. Prior to their university studies, they attended Evanston Township High School (ETHS) from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they obtained the Xamarin Mobile Certification in May 2017.
