Fernanda Berti currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of JBS Biotech since October 2021. Previously, Fernanda co-founded BioCellTis, where the role of Chief Operating Officer involved establishing strategic planning, managing corporate consolidation, and overseeing intellectual property development. As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Advisor at BioCellTis, focus was on creating 3D cell culture products for cancer research. Additionally, Fernanda co-founded Vetherapy® as Chief Scientific Officer, providing stem cell therapies for pets based on extensive research in regenerative medicine. Earlier roles included Manager of Research and Development at InteLab and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the 3B's Research Group. Educationally, Fernanda holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering specializing in Tissue and Organ Engineering, a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
