Matthew Capel

Matthew Capel is an experienced team manager currently at JBT Corporation since February 2020, where leadership of a team of chemists has led to the development of new formulations and expansion of product offerings while focusing on sustainable sourcing. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Technical Sales Specialist at General Sealants, Inc. USA from June 2016 to January 2020, enhancing product offerings and researching cost-effective materials for high-temperature applications. Earlier experience includes work at 3M from January 2010 to May 2016 as both a Product Development Engineer and Manager, where development of advanced sealants for aerospace applications was key. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UC Irvine and is pursuing a Master of Science in Finance at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, expected to complete in March 2024.
