JC Navalips is the Global Leader in manufacturing the highest quality requirement Ni-Al Bronze products, with over 50 years of successful history.

Originally founded in 1974 as a joint venture between LIPS (NL) and AESA (Spain), we started our journey as Navalips, specializing in the production of propellers for the maritime industry. On top of our marine propulsion expertise, we have long track record in energy sector components, from hydro power impellers to oil&gas bronze components.

In 2003, Wärtsilä acquired 50% ownership of LIPS, thereby becoming the majority stakeholder in Navalips. Two years later, in 2005, Wärtsilä purchased the remaining 50% shares, making Navalips a wholly owned subsidiary of Wärtsilä.

In 2008, our manufacturing facility in Cantabria underwent a significant expansion, doubling its production capacity. This expansion not only strengthened our presence in the market but also allowed us to cater to the growing global demand for our high-quality propellers.

In 2022, Javier Cavada acquired the Wärtsilä plant, ensuring its continuity and operational excellence. Under the new ownership, the facility was renamed JC Navalips, and is developing an expansion plan. We proudly maintain a global supply agreement with Wärtsilä, leveraging their expertise and resources to continue delivering exceptional propeller solutions to our valued customers worldwide.
