Since 1965, JC Tropicals has helped shape the tropical produce category in the United States. What began as a family enterprise has evolved into a tropical produce advisory and distribution platform trusted by national retailers, global distributors, and growers worldwide.

Today, we are more than a distributor. We operate as tropical produce advisors—integrating global sourcing, disciplined operations, packaging innovation, merchandising strategy, and consumer education to transform tropical produce into a consistent, high-performing retail category.

JC Tropicals is the #1 distributor of dragon fruit in the U.S., offering all three commercial varietals—white flesh, red flesh, and yellow skin—sourced primarily from Ecuador and South Florida. Our leadership in dragon fruit extends beyond supply, supported by varietal expertise, demand planning, packaging formats, and destination merchandising programs designed for scale and velocity.

We believe growth is driven not by adding more SKUs, but by clarity of strategy, excellence of execution, and confidence at every point of decision—from the field to the shelf. We help partners reduce complexity, manage risk, and unlock long-term category value through integrated, data-informed solutions.

Our diversified global supply network spans the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia, supported by strategic distribution hubs in Miami, FL and McAllen, TX, enabling national reach across North America.

Sustainability is operational at JC Tropicals. We have reduced over one million transportation miles, eliminated significant corrugated packaging through reusable systems, are actively reducing non-recyclable plastics, maintain SMETA certification, and continue advancing organic certification and supplier compliance globally.
