Robert Colvile

Robert Colvile is the Director of the Centre for Policy Studies and Editor-in-Chief at CapX, as well as a political columnist for The Sunday Times. They serve as an Expert Member of the Department for International Trade's Strategic Trade Advisory Group and an Advisor to JCB Group. Colvile co-authored the Conservative election manifesto in December 2019 and is the author of the critically acclaimed book 'The Great Acceleration.' Their previous roles include UK News Director at BuzzFeed and various editorial positions at the Telegraph, where they managed diverse teams and covered significant events like the 2015 election. Colvile holds a Master of Arts in History and a Master of Philosophy in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
