Stuart Weinstock has a wide range of work experience in the film industry. Stuart is currently working as the NJ Jewish Film Festival Director and Year-Round Film Programmer at JCC MetroWest. Prior to this, they were an Adjunct Professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey starting in 2013. Stuart also held positions as an Adjunct Professor and Film Programmer at Columbia University, starting in 2010. Stuart has extensive experience as a Filmmaker, specializing in narrative content and directing actors, with notable credits such as "Breaking the Chain" and "Swine, Liquor, & White Women." Stuart has also worked as a Writer at Cinespect and a Script Analyst at Wild Bunch. Additionally, Stuart has taught Directing & Screenwriting at New York Film Academy and Mercy College. Stuart Weinstock has an extensive education history in the field of film. Stuart began their academic journey in the year 2000 with a Summer Film Workshop at the New York Film Academy, where they gained practical knowledge and experience.
Stuart then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Film Studies & Psychology at Columbia University, which they completed in 2005. During this time, Stuart was immersed in the study of film and psychology, developing a strong foundation in these subjects.
Following their undergraduate studies, Stuart continued their education at Columbia University, this time pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film Directing. Stuart dedicated four years to this program, from 2005 to 2009, honing their skills and knowledge in the intricate art of directing.
