Carol Rafferty

Carol Rafferty is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in academia and corporate governance. Currently serving as Assistant Dean at Yale School of Management and Director for China in the Office of International Affairs, along with managing the Yale Center Beijing since August 2014, Carol is also an Independent Director at JD.COM and previously held the position of Independent Non-Executive Director at JD Logistics. Prior experience includes roles as Asia Pacific General Counsel at Vermeer Corporation and Senior Vice President at China Investment Corporation, alongside earlier positions at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and WilmerHale. Educational credentials include a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA in Economics and International Studies from Yale University, complemented by further executive education at Harvard Business School focused on women in board leadership.
