Daming Wang

Daming Wang is an experienced professional in the field of machine learning, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at JD.COM since April 2021, focusing on deep learning, time-series forecasting, multimodal learning, and NAS. Prior to this, Daming held the position of Senior Algorithm Expert at Alibaba Group from 2019 to 2021, where expertise in deep sequence learning and forecasting applications was developed. Daming also worked as the Senior Manager of Machine Learning at VIP.com from 2016 to 2019, leading large-scale machine learning platforms for the Fintech Department. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Tech Lead at Autodesk from 2007 to 2012, specializing in machine learning applications for document classification and information extraction, as well as ontology-based knowledge graph construction. Daming holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Donghua University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Zhengzhou University.
