Shu Li

Shu (Joseph) Li is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy and business development across leading firms in the technology and consulting sectors. Currently serving as a Group Vice President and Head of Strategy at 京东 since November 2021, Shu previously held key roles at Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where significant contributions included co-leading the Greater China TMT practice and publishing influential research on the Chinese internet and AI. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Cisco Systems, where strategic investments in Cloud Computing and IoT were pivotal, as well as founding and directing strategy at Newpalm Information Technology and holding a director role at UTStarcom, where the first PHS-based mobile internet business in China was launched. Shu's academic credentials include an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master’s degree in International Trade from the University of International Business and Economics.
