JD-Next is an 8-week online program designed to build essential law school skills in just 6–10 hours per week. The program begins with Case Brief Workshops, where participants learn to analyze cases and extract key rules and facts, and culminates in an admissions assessment that can be used in place of the LSAT/GRE or as an addendum to demonstrate readiness for law school.

In the first half, you'll focus on legal reasoning and case analysis. The second half applies these skills to 1L Contract Law, exploring foundational cases like Hawkins v. McGee. Each week features interactive lessons, quizzes, and personalized feedback to refine your understanding. Course videos cover key concepts, while professional identity videos highlight insights from legal professionals.

Frequent formative assessments reinforce learning and test prep strategies, complemented by problems of the day for practical application. The course includes JD-Next test prep materials, quizzes, essays, model answers, and grading rubrics for self-assessment.

JD-Next concludes with a comprehensive test, which also serves as a law school admissions test, ensuring a fair and accurate evaluation of your law school readiness. Participation has been scientifically demonstrated to boost 1L GPAs by 0.20, on average.
