Mike Agar

Mike Agar has extensive work experience in the tech industry, with a focus on software engineering and management. Mike is currently working as a Senior Developer at J.D. Power, where they build cloud infrastructure and tooling for the Digital Transformation team. Prior to this, Mike founded Signal Flare, a company that adds context to analytics through shared annotations. Mike also served as the CTO at LoanConnect, where they were responsible for technology leadership. Mike co-founded BluePoint Technology, a company that provided a home internet solution for parents. Before that, they worked at BlackBerry as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and Senior Product Manager, where they played a key role in launching PlayBook and BB10. In their earlier years, Mike held software engineering management roles in the aerospace industry, where they led a large team responsible for building a safety-certified OpenGL technology stack for cockpit displays.

Mike Agar has a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering from Western University.
