John Simon

John Simon is the owner of J Dog Studio, where they serve as a recording and mixing engineer, specializing in projects for singers and acoustic instruments. With extensive experience as a jazz piano instructor at both Sonoma State University and Santa Rosa Junior College, John has contributed significantly to music education since 2003. As the music director at St. Francis Solano Catholic Church since 2006, they direct the choir and oversee liturgical music. John is a professional musician who has freelanced throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 1979, showcasing a diverse repertoire across various genres. They hold a Master’s degree in Music Composition from Esther Boyer College of Music.
