Pieter Openshaw

Pieter Openshaw has extensive experience in building surveying and maintenance management, having held key positions at several organizations. At JD Sports Fashion, Pieter served as Group Head of Maintenance & Compliance and previously as Group Compliance & Maintenance Manager and Building Surveyor for Europe from September 2017 to July 2023. Prior to this, Pieter worked at B&M Retail as a Buildings & Maintenance Surveyor and at Beechwood & Ballantyne Community Housing Association as a Maintenance Surveyor, where responsibilities included delivering a response repairs and void management service. Other roles include Assistant Surveyor at Cobalt Housing, focusing on inspections and remedial work management, and Sales Advisor at Home Retail Group PLC. Pieter holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from Liverpool John Moores University, completed in 2011, and attended St Anselm's College in Birkenhead from 1999 to 2006.
