Tom Parker

Tom Parker is a qualified IT professional specializing in information security and data privacy, holding multiple certifications including FIP, CRISC, CIPP/e, CIPT, GSEC, and PCI-ISA. Currently serving as the Global Business Information Security Officer at JD Sports Fashion, Parker implements the group's security strategy and developed the BISO function to enhance Cyber Culture. Previously, they led the Privacy Assurance team at Royal Mail and contributed as an Information Security Specialist at Asda, fostering secure project delivery and compliance. Parker earned a First Class Honours degree in Information Technology from Newcastle University and completed a Level 7 Apprenticeship in Senior Leadership and Executive Management at Imperial College London.
