Mark Witherspoon is currently the Head of Tendering at JDR Cable Systems Ltd. They previously held various roles at TechnipFMC, including Umbilical Lead and Principal Umbilical Engineer, where they managed engineering teams and provided technical support for project delivery. With experience as an Area Plant Engineer at BNFL, Mark contributed to mechanical project management and maintenance strategies. They have also completed a two-year graduate training scheme, meeting the requirements for Chartered Engineer status. Mark is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University while studying for a Higher National Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering at Newcastle College.
