Mick Ormston is a Senior Design Engineer at JDR Cable Systems, having held various engineering roles since beginning an apprenticeship at NEI Parsons from 1985 to 1989. Mick has extensive experience as a Design Engineer, having worked at Siemens Power Generation, Saia Burgess, and Parker Domnick Hunter, among others. Mick also served as a Lead Engineer at BEL Valves Ltd and as a Lead Project Engineer at JDR Cable Systems. Mick obtained a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 1996.
