Peter Burns

Peter Burns is an experienced Senior Project Manager currently employed at JDR Cable Systems since May 2022, having previously held key project management roles at TechnipFMC Umbilicals from July 2014 to May 2022 and Technip Umbilicals Ltd. from September 2011 to June 2014. Peter has successfully managed significant projects, including the Kristin Sor Project for TechnipFMC Norway/Equinor and delivered the Lianzi and Alder Development Projects for Subsea 7/Chevron in 2015. Earlier experience includes roles at Astrum UK Ltd. focused on business assurance, and various quality assurance positions at BAE Systems, where responsibilities ranged from production readiness to vendor assurance. Peter holds a 2:1 degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from the University of Sunderland.
