Charles Teal

Chase Teal, PE, has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as the Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering at JDS Consulting since September 2018. In this role, Chase oversees the accuracy of engineering projects and approves structural design plans for residential clients. Previous positions include Field Engineering Manager, responsible for field projects, and Structural Engineer at Spectra Engineering & Design PLLC, where Chase provided structural solutions for residential construction in North Carolina. Earlier experience at FDH Velocitel included roles as Project Manager, Project Engineer II, and Field Structural Engineer, managing engineering services for telecom sites and leading teams of engineers. Chase's career began with service in the US Army as an Infantryman, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from North Carolina State University and an Associate's Degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
