Jonathan Davies

Executive President & Founder at JDX

Jonathan founded JDX in 2012 to provide specialist operation support to financial services clients globally.

Prior to JDX, Jonathan was the founder and CEO of the Derivatives Consulting Group (DCG). DCG supported investment banks and asset managers in back office operations. DCG seconded its own employees into firms to deal with derivative documentation, collateral issues, major novation projects and other operational remediation projects. Whilst at DCG, Jonathan ran the Markit Metrics for Derivative Operations. These metrics were collated from all the major investment banks and the metrics were subsequently reported to the Fed. Jonathan built DCG from a start up to over 500 staff globally with a turnover of $30m in four years. DCG was sold to Sapient Corporation in 2008. Prior to establishing DCG, Jonathan worked for PwC where he helped develop their capital markets practice with a focus on derivative operations.
