Alex McDermott

Alex McDermott is an accomplished Aesthetic Practice Coordinator at JECT since March 2022, bringing a diverse background in performance and teaching. In addition to coordinating aesthetic practices, Alex has been an Actor with Hudson Artists Agency since December 2016 and served as a MainStage Performer with Disney Cruise Line until December 2023. Previous acting roles include performances at Palace Theater in productions such as "The Marvelous Wonderettes" and "Grease." Alex has also contributed to the community as a Dance Teacher at San Clemente Dance & Performing Arts and has held various positions in childcare and hospitality. Educational achievements include a Master Certification in Nutrition, Food, and Wellness, a BFA in Dance from San Diego State University, and ongoing training at Open Jar Institute for Musical Theatre.
