Cassandra Raphael, MD, MPH, currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and as a Consulting Expert in Mental Health for The Jed Foundation. Additional roles include hosting the radio talk show Trauma Code and working as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for the New York State Office of Mental Health. Previously, Cassandra held positions such as Administrative Chief Fellow of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and Child Psychiatry Fellow during extensive residency training. Expertise in clinical research was developed at the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, along with experience in curriculum development and instruction for high school students. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University, a Master of Public Health from SUNY Downstate, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biochemistry and Political Science from Sacred Heart University.
