Joel Reed, PE, is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in project management and operations within the chemical, power, and pulp and paper industries. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Jedson Engineering since October 2024, Reed previously held various leadership positions at AFRY, including Director of Project Delivery and General Manager of the Process Industry Division. Reed's prior roles involve significant contributions as Mechanical and Piping Resource Leader at Hargrove Engineers + Constructors, Lead Project Manager at ProcessBarron, and Process Engineer at Robins and Morton. Reed's extensive experience originated at KBR, Inc. as Project Manager and Process Engineer, along with earlier tenure as Piping Engineer at Jacobs. Reed earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University in 2001.
