Jose Hirmas

Jose Hirmas has a diverse work experience in various fields. Jose is currently the Head of Jeff Academy at Jeff, a role they have held since July 2022. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2021, they worked at Actitud Lab as a Partner & Commercial Director. In this role, they co-designed the vision and methodology of the company, led projects for over 50 companies and organizations, and served as an innovation consultant and workshop facilitator. From 2015 to 2020, Jose worked at Centro de Innovación UC Anacleto Angelini as an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Methodologist & University Teacher. Here, they co-designed entrepreneurship methodologies for the JUMP Program, facilitated workshops, and taught students in Latin America. Prior to that, in 2012, they were an Innovation Methodologies Trainee at BOMBACAMP, where they conducted research, addressed customer development, and instructed startup courses. In 2010, Jose had a marketing trainee role at Rotter & Krauss.

Jose Hirmas has a diverse education history. Jose began their academic journey at Santiago College, where they obtained an IB Certificate in Secondary Education in 2005. Jose then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Commercial Engineering, at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez from 2006 to 2010. In 2011, they furthered their education by earning an MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. In 2012, they attended the European Innovation Academy and completed an Innovation Diploma. Jose's educational pursuits continued with a Master's degree in Design for Emergent Futures from the University School of Design and Engineering of Barcelona from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, they also pursued a Master's in Design for Emergent Futures from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya during the same time period.
