Alex Bauer is currently the SVP of Trading at Jefferies, having joined the firm in 2023. They previously held the position of VP of Trading at Barclays Investment Bank from 2018 to 2023 and served as an Associate in Equity Research at National Bank Financial from 2015 to 2018, where they received multiple industry accolades. Alex also gained early experience as an Analyst in Investment Banking at Maxit Capital in 2014. They hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Queen's University.
