Ally Murphy is an accomplished investment banking professional with a strong educational background and varied experience in financial services. Currently serving as COO of the Financial Sponsors Group and Junior COO of Private Capital Advisory at Jefferies since July 2020, Ally has also held roles as an Investment Banking Associate and Analyst within the Global Industrials Group. Prior to joining Jefferies full-time, Ally gained valuable experience as a Corporate Development Intern at Axel Johnson Inc. and as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Jefferies. Ally's leadership capabilities were demonstrated while managing the Student Ambassadors at Middlebury College, where skills in persuasion and communication were honed while soliciting alumni donations. Ally graduated magna cum laude from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and Economics and participated in a study abroad program at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
