Bala Ramesh

Bala Ramesh is the EMEA Head of Debt Capital Markets and EMEA Co-Head of Leveraged Finance at Jefferies, where they have been since 2025. With nearly 20 years of experience in European leveraged finance, Bala previously held significant roles at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from 2007 to 2017, and at Jefferies from 2018 to 2024. Bala’s early career included positions at PwC and Lehman Brothers, contributing to a comprehensive background in finance. They hold an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, alongside degrees in Commerce and Chartered Accountancy.
