Berthold Mueller

Berthold Mueller is a seasoned professional in the investment banking sector, currently serving as the Continental European Head of Industrials and Chairman of DACH Investment Banking at Jefferies since December 2019. Prior to this role, Berthold held significant positions at BNP Paribas CIB from September 2011 to December 2019, including Vice Chairman of Industrials Investment Banking EMEA and Head of International Mergers & Acquisitions, where responsibilities included overseeing cross-border M&A activities between Europe, the Americas, and Asia. From April 2006 to October 2012, Berthold led the German Corporate Finance platform for BNP Paribas. Berthold's career also includes a role as Director of M&A at Deutsche Bank from January 2000 to April 2004, specializing in general M&A. Berthold holds a degree in Diplomkaufmann in Betriebswirtschaftslehre from the University of Cologne, which was completed between 1987 and 1989.
