Chris Bonfield

Chris Bonfield is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director of Private Capital Advisory at Jefferies since January 2021, where responsibilities include leading coverage and execution of secondary private equity transactions for institutional limited partners and fund sponsors. Previously, Chris held the position of Managing Director at Greenhill & Co. from January 2015 to January 2021, and progressed through roles including Director, Vice President, and Associate at Cogent Partners from August 2007 to December 2014. Chris gained experience as an Associate in Corporate Debt Products at Bank of America from July 2006 to July 2007, and interned as a Venture Fellow at Centennial Ventures in early 2005. Early career involved managing consulting engagements focused on revenue enhancement initiatives for the financial services industry at Carreker Corporation from July 2000 to August 2004. Chris holds an MBA in Finance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a BA in Economics and Math from Vanderbilt University.
