Christopher Schmidt is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the mortgage finance sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Jefferies since November 2023, Christopher previously held the position of Executive Director in Residential Mortgage Lending and Finance at Morgan Stanley from January 2009 to August 2023. Prior to that, Christopher was an Executive Director for Residential Mortgage Finance at UBS from July 2004 to January 2009 and served as Vice President in Residential Mortgage Finance at Chase from June 1997 to July 2004. Christopher Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
