Christopher Young, JD, CFA, is an accomplished financial expert specializing in contested situations, currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Contested Situations at Jefferies since August 2018. With a robust background in finance and law, Young previously held the position of Managing Director and Head of Contested Situations at Credit Suisse and was Director of M&A and Proxy Fight Research at Institutional Shareholder Services. Prior experience includes roles as a technology investment banker at Bear Stearns, M&A lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell, corporate lawyer at White & Case, and options trader at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.
