Ian Carter is an experienced professional in the finance and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of EMEA Equities Technology at Jefferies & Company since August 2007. Ian manages high-touch, DMA, and algorithmic trading of various equity products, along with responsibilities in programme management, IT strategy, MiFID II compliance, trading surveillance, cloud migration, and data management. Prior to this role, Ian was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch from June 2000 to July 2007 and held the position of Program Manager at BZW from September 1995 to May 2000, focusing on operations, finance, technology, and securities finance.
