Janna Maland

Janna Maland currently serves as Associate General Counsel & Senior Vice President at Jefferies since October 2023. Prior to this role, Janna held positions at Santander Private Banking International as Associate General Counsel & Vice President from August 2018 to September 2023, and at Shearman & Sterling LLP as an Associate in the Finance Group from October 2014 to February 2018. Janna also gained experience as a Secondee at Barclays Investment Bank, providing legal counsel on securitizations, and completed multiple roles at Shearman & Sterling LLP and various legal institutions during earlier training. Janna holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Bucerius Law School, complemented by an exchange program at New York University School of Law.
