Jeffrey Barany

Jeffrey Barany is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fixed income derivative structured products and macro structuring. Currently serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Fixed Income Derivative Structured Products and Solutions at Jefferies since 2013, Jeffrey Barany also leads International Investment Grade MTN Origination and International Rates Derivative Trading. Prior to Jefferies, Jeffrey Barany held various senior positions at Morgan Stanley from 1999 to 2013, including Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Global Macro Structuring, where Jeffrey Barany co-founded and led a global team that structured and traded diverse financial products. Jeffrey Barany’s earlier experience includes a Vice President role in Chase Alternative Investments at Chase Manhattan Corporation, where responsibilities included marketing and structuring tailored fund products. Jeffrey Barany earned an MBA in Finance and Statistics from The Wharton School and a B.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from Ohio University.
