Joanna Jia

Joanna Jia serves as a Board Member for Book Fairies, a not-for-profit organization focused on improving literacy rates by distributing books to under-resourced communities. Joanna currently holds the position of SVP, Associate General Counsel at Jefferies, with a previous role as Corporate Secretary at John Wiley and Sons, where responsibilities included managing board matters and corporate records. Joanna's legal career began as a Paralegal at Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady and included an internship at The Jane Goodall Institute - Roots and Shoots. Joanna Jia earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Wellesley College.
