Joe Ziemer

Joe Ziemer currently serves as the Head of Strategic Communications at Jefferies since October 2022. Prior to this role, Ziemer held the position of Vice President of Communications and Policy at Figure from November 2021 to September 2022, and at Betterment from December 2012 to August 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing communications and policy for the largest independent automated investing service and serving as the interim head of Betterment for Advisors. Ziemer's earlier experience includes serving as Director of Communications at TriplePoint from December 2007 to December 2012, where Ziemer worked with clients such as Bonobos and American Express, and as Marketing and Communications Manager at Clowes Memorial Hall from December 2005 to December 2007. Ziemer holds a BA in Media Arts, Business, and Journalism from Butler University, completed in 2005.
