Julia Derish

Julia Derish is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various areas of law, including employment law, securities litigation, and intellectual property. Julia began a legal career as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, where responsibilities included managing e-discovery and second chairing depositions. Subsequent roles included Enforcement Counsel at FINRA and an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates. Currently serving as Vice President, Legal (Regulatory) at Jefferies, Julia’s background also includes a law clerk position at the U.S. District Court for the District of Hawaii and an Assistant Director of Communications at NYU Langone Medical Center. Julia holds a BA in English from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law.
