Ken Chui

Ken Chui currently serves as the Head of Insurance for Asia at Jefferies, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ken was a Director at Credit Suisse from November 2018 to September 2022, where responsibilities included leadership in the APAC FIG sector. Ken's earlier experience includes a tenure at Rand Merchant Bank from March 2007 to September 2018, with roles such as China Exco, where coordination of all China-related businesses took place, and Corporate Finance Transactor, focusing on China-Africa cross-border M&A transactions. Additionally, Ken worked as a Quantitative Analyst, developing derivative pricing models. Ken began a career in finance as an Actuarial Specialist at Alexander Forbes, specializing in retirement and derivative valuation. Academic qualifications include an EMBA from a consortium of prestigious institutions (Columbia Business School, London Business School, and The University of Hong Kong), a Master of Science in Mathematics of Finance from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Pretoria.
