Leon Krupkin

Leon Krupkin currently serves as the Global Head of Risk Technology and Managing Director at Jefferies since January 2024, leading risk technology across various risk business lines, including market and counterparty credit risk in both equities and fixed income. Prior to this role, Leon was the Head of Risk Technology at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., overseeing risk technology for multiple asset classes from January 2018 to January 2024. Between January 2013 and January 2018, Leon directed front office development as the Head of Front Office Development at Pine River Capital Management, focusing on trading and portfolio management systems. Earlier experience includes a role as a Management Consultant for Financial Services at Accenture and as the Head of Algorithmic Trading Technology at Goldman Sachs. Leon holds an MBA in Analytic Finance, Economics, Econometrics, and Statistics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's in Computer Science from NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
