Liz Sami

Liz Sami currently serves as Chief Operating Officer for Information Security at Jefferies, directing financial strategy and governance for Global IT Information Security. Prior to this role, Liz held various leadership positions at BNY, including managing a $160M financial plan and overseeing a $140M technology portfolio. With extensive experience in anti-financial crime technology at Deutsche Bank and client onboarding technology at Merrill Lynch, Liz has demonstrated a strong ability to lead complex regulatory initiatives and global project teams. Liz began a professional career in software development, having worked for firms such as Avanade and Skanska. Liz holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Pace University.
