Michael Lord

Michael Lord has extensive experience in risk management and finance, currently serving as a Risk Consultant in the Office of the Risk COO at Jefferies since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael spent over a decade at Credit Suisse, where responsibilities included COO of Risk and Finance Data, Analytics and Reporting, as well as Director of Global/Swiss Banking Shared Service Operations. Michael's career in finance began at Merrill Lynch, where the position of Vice President of Product Control was held from October 2000 to June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Pretoria and the ACMA designation in Management Accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
