Michael Simotas

Michael Simotas is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in equity research and strategic analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director Consumer and Deputy Head of Equity Research Australia at Jefferies since September 2019, Michael previously held various roles at Deutsche Bank from May 2007 to July 2019, including Director and Deputy Head of Equity Research ANZ, as well as Vice President for Healthcare equity research. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Strategy Analyst at Westpac in 2006-2007 and as a Management Consultant at Accenture from February 2005 to October 2006. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Econometrics, both from the University of Sydney, completed between 2000 and 2004.
