Omair Hashimi

Omair Hashimi, CPA, CA, CFA has a diverse and impressive work experience in various industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Analyst in Accounting & Finance at Reliance Home Comfort for a brief period. In 2009, Omair joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate in the Audit & Assurance Group and stayed there until 2014.

In 2014, they joined TD Securities as a Senior Analyst in Strategy, where they worked until 2016. Omair then transitioned to EY, where they served as a VP in Transaction Advisory Services from 2016 to 2017.

Currently, Omair is working at Jefferies as a Vice President in Technology Investment Banking, starting in 2017. Their roles and responsibilities in each position have allowed him to develop a strong skill set and expertise in accounting, finance, strategy, and transaction advisory services.

Omair Hashimi, CPA, CA, CFA, completed their B.B.A Co-op in Management and Accounting from the University of Toronto in 2010. Omair obtained their CPA, CA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2013. In 2015, they received their CFA Charter from the CFA Institute.
