Peter Colwell

Peter Colwell is currently the Managing Director and Head of APAC Leveraged Finance & Syndication at Jefferies, a role they have held since 2018. They previously served as Director and Head of Leveraged Finance at Credit Suisse from 2010 to 2018, and as Associate Director in Corporate Finance at KPMG from 2009 to 2010. Peter began their career as a Graduate Solicitor at MacGillivrays Solicitors from 2004 to 2005 and worked as an Associate in Leveraged Finance at National Australia Bank from 2005 to 2009. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Law (Hons) from The University of Queensland and are pursuing Graduate Diplomas in Applied Finance and Investment at FINSIA and in Legal Practice at the College of Law.
