Shayan Palit

Shayan Palit, CFA, is a highly experienced finance professional specializing in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Jefferies since August 2014, where earlier roles included Vice President and Associate. Prior to Jefferies, Shayan was a Startup Team Member at Inscites Research, Inc., contributing to sales and finance and achieving 7th place in the New Venture Challenge. Additional experience includes a Summer Associate position in Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a Sales Engineer role at Flow Science, Inc. Shayan holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
