Srini Vasan

Srini Vasan has extensive experience in the financial technology industry. Srini currently works at Point72 as the Macro Front Office Technology Lead. Prior to this, they served as the Front Office Technology Head at Jefferies, where they were responsible for global Change-the-Bank efforts in the Fixed Income division. At Bank of America, they held the position of Director of Capital Markets Technology and was involved in various initiatives, including the development of business management platforms. At Morgan Stanley, they worked as an Executive Director, overseeing the Credit Products Technology team. Srini also held senior positions at Credit Suisse, where they managed technology strategy and budgets for the Fixed Income division, and at Bear Stearns, where they led the development of pricing and risk analytics for the Equity Derivatives desk. Srini began their career at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as an Associate Director in the Fixed Income department.

Srini Vasan has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. Srini also holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Designing RESTful APIs, and Microservices Foundations from LinkedIn in November 2018.
